Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of AskVerdict, a product of GLINR Studios, a division of GLINCKER LLC. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
This AUP exists to ensure a safe, fair, and productive environment for all AskVerdict users and to prevent misuse of our AI debate engine. It defines the boundaries of acceptable behavior and the consequences of violations. All users must comply with this policy as a condition of using the Service.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use AskVerdict to:
- Engage in illegal activity: Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, or trafficking
- Harass or threaten: Generate content intended to harass, bully, intimidate, stalk, or threaten any individual or group based on any protected characteristic
- Produce harmful content: Create content that promotes violence, self-harm, suicide, terrorism, hate speech, discrimination, or exploitation of minors
- Circumvent safety measures: Attempt to bypass, disable, reverse engineer, or manipulate content filters, rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or other safety systems built into the platform or underlying AI models ("jailbreaking")
- Conduct automated abuse: Use bots, scripts, crawlers, or automated tools to submit excessive requests, scrape content, extract data, or overwhelm our infrastructure without prior written authorization
- Reverse engineer: Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code, algorithms, model weights, system prompts, or proprietary logic from any part of the AskVerdict platform
- Distribute malware: Use the platform to generate, distribute, or facilitate malicious software, phishing campaigns, spam, social engineering attacks, or credential harvesting
- Violate intellectual property: Use AskVerdict to systematically infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of third parties
- Resell or redistribute: Sublicense, resell, white-label, or redistribute the Service or its outputs as a competing product without explicit written authorization
- Compromise security: Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any connected system without prior written authorization from GLINCKER LLC
3. AI-Specific Restrictions
Given the AI-powered nature of AskVerdict, the following additional restrictions apply to all users:
- No professional advice impersonation: You may not present AskVerdict outputs as professional legal, medical, financial, tax, therapeutic, engineering, or any other licensed professional advice. AI-generated verdicts are for informational and entertainment purposes only. If you share outputs with others, you must clearly disclose they are AI-generated.
- No impersonation: You may not use AskVerdict to generate content that impersonates real individuals, public figures, organizations, government entities, or AI systems other than AskVerdict
- No misinformation campaigns: You may not use the platform to deliberately create, amplify, or distribute false information, propaganda, deepfake-supporting content, or deceptive narratives
- No manipulation of debates: You may not attempt to manipulate the AI agents or debate engine to produce predetermined, biased, or deceptive outcomes for fraudulent purposes or to deceive third parties about the impartiality of the analysis
- No sensitive data submission: Do not submit personally identifiable information of third parties (SSNs, medical records, financial account numbers), confidential business information, classified government material, or attorney-client privileged communications as debate topics
- Disclosure of AI use: When sharing or publishing AskVerdict outputs in contexts where the AI-generated nature of the content is not obvious, you must disclose that the content was generated by AI. This aligns with the EU AI Act transparency requirements and emerging global standards.
4. Content Restrictions
The following content categories are prohibited when submitted as debate topics or prompts:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content sexualizing minors
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or revenge pornography
- Detailed instructions for creating weapons, explosives, or controlled substances
- Content designed to facilitate human trafficking or exploitation
- Specific plans for violence against identifiable individuals or groups
- Content that could directly enable cyberattacks on specific targets
We maintain automated and manual content review systems. Content flagged as violating these restrictions will be removed, and repeat offenders will face account termination and potential legal referral.
5. Fair Use & Rate Limits
To ensure platform stability and fair access for all users, AskVerdict enforces usage limits:
- Rate limits: Each plan tier has defined request limits per minute, hour, and day. Exceeding these limits will result in temporary throttling (HTTP 429 responses).
- Fair use: Even on unlimited-label tiers, usage must remain within reasonable bounds. Patterns suggesting automated abuse, resource hoarding, or denial-of-service behavior will be flagged for review.
- Burst protection: Sudden spikes in usage that significantly exceed your historical patterns may trigger automatic review.
- Shared resources: AskVerdict is a shared platform. Activities that disproportionately consume resources and degrade service for other users are prohibited.
Current rate limits for each plan tier are documented in our API documentation. We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain platform stability.
6. AI Provider Compliance
AskVerdict integrates with multiple third-party AI providers. When using the Service, you must also comply with the acceptable use policies of the underlying AI providers, including:
- Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy (for Claude models)
- OpenAI's Usage Policies (for GPT models)
- Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy (for Gemini models)
- xAI's Terms of Service (for Grok models)
- OpenRouter's Terms of Service
If a third-party provider flags or restricts content submitted through AskVerdict, we may relay that restriction to you and require compliance. Repeated violations of provider policies may result in restriction of your access to specific models or the Service entirely.
BYOK users: If you use your own API keys, violations of provider policies are your sole responsibility. Provider-imposed penalties (key revocation, account suspension) resulting from your usage through AskVerdict are not our liability.
7. Monitoring & Detection
We employ the following measures to enforce this AUP:
- Automated content filtering on inputs and outputs
- Rate limit enforcement and anomaly detection
- Pattern analysis for abuse indicators
- User reports and manual review by our trust & safety team
- Cooperation with AI provider safety teams
We review flagged content with a focus on context and intent. Not all flagged content constitutes a violation — we recognize that legitimate debate topics may touch sensitive subjects.
8. Enforcement & Consequences
We investigate reports and detected violations, taking action proportional to the severity, intent, and frequency of the violation:
- Level 1 — Warning: A notification of the policy violation with guidance on acceptable use. The violating content may be removed.
- Level 2 — Temporary restriction: Temporary limitation of specific features (e.g., restricted access to certain models) for a defined period (typically 7–30 days).
- Level 3 — Account suspension: Full suspension of account access for a defined period, with reinstatement subject to review.
- Level 4 — Permanent termination: Permanent removal of your account and all access to the Service. Associated data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
- Level 5 — Legal referral: In severe cases involving illegal activity, we will report violations to appropriate law enforcement agencies and may pursue civil legal remedies.
We reserve the right to bypass lower enforcement levels and proceed directly to suspension, termination, or legal referral for severe violations (e.g., CSAM, terrorism content, imminent threats of violence).
9. Appeals Process
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@glincker.com with the subject line "AUP Appeal". Your appeal should include:
- Your account email address
- Description of the enforcement action taken
- Your explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Any relevant context or evidence
We will review appeals within 14 business days and notify you of the outcome. Appeal decisions are made by a different reviewer than the original enforcement decision. The appeal decision is final.
10. Cooperation with Authorities
GLINCKER LLC cooperates with law enforcement and regulatory authorities when required by law or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, or governmental requests
- Protect the safety of any person or the general public
- Prevent or investigate potentially illegal activities
- Protect our rights, property, or the security of our platform
We may preserve account data and usage logs as required by law or in anticipation of legal proceedings. Where legally permissible, we will notify affected users of government data requests.
11. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior on AskVerdict that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us at: support@glincker.com
Please include as much detail as possible in your report:
- The specific content or behavior you are reporting
- The user or account involved (if known)
- Screenshots or URLs if applicable
- Why you believe this violates the AUP
- Any relevant timestamps or context
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports are handled confidentially — we will not disclose the identity of the reporter to the reported user. You will not face retaliation for submitting good-faith reports.
