Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AskVerdict ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

AskVerdict is a multi-agent AI debate engine that generates structured verdicts on user-submitted topics. The platform orchestrates multiple AI agents with diverse perspectives to analyze questions and produce comprehensive, balanced assessments.

AskVerdict is currently in early access. Features, functionality, availability, and pricing are subject to change without prior notice as we continue development. Early access users understand that the Service may have limitations, bugs, or interruptions.

3. Eligibility

To use AskVerdict, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA/UK)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Service for violations

4. Account Registration & Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials — do not share your password or allow others to access your account
• Notify us immediately at support@glincker.com of any unauthorized access or security breach

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your credentials.

5. Subscription & Billing

AskVerdict offers the following plans:

• Free: Limited access to the debate engine with monthly usage caps. No payment required.
• BYOK ($3.99/month): Unlimited debates with your own API keys, all models, priority processing, and advanced features
• Credit Packs: Pay-as-you-go credits for additional usage beyond plan limits. Credits do not expire while your account is active.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@glincker.com. Upon cancellation, your access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial months.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@glincker.com within 14 days of a charge for consideration. Unused credit packs are non-refundable.

Price changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price increase takes effect.

6. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Terms

If you choose to use your own API keys with AskVerdict:

• Cost responsibility: You are solely responsible for all costs, fees, and charges incurred through your API keys with third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, OpenRouter). AskVerdict has no visibility into or control over your provider billing.
• Provider compliance: You must comply with each AI provider's terms of service, acceptable use policies, and rate limits. Violations of provider terms are your sole responsibility.
• Key security: You are responsible for securing, rotating, and revoking your own API keys. Your keys are never stored on our servers — they exist only in memory for the duration of a single request. See our Privacy Policy (BYOK section) for technical details.
• No liability: AskVerdict is not liable for any charges, rate limit impacts, account suspensions, or other consequences arising from your BYOK key usage through our platform.

7. AI Output Disclaimer

THIS IS A CRITICAL SECTION. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

AskVerdict provides AI-generated analysis for informational and entertainment purposes only. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated verdicts, debates, and analyses do not constitute and must not be relied upon as professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to: legal advice, financial or investment advice, medical or health advice, tax advice, therapeutic or psychological advice, or any other professional guidance requiring licensure or certification
• AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, biases, hallucinations, outdated information, or errors inherent to the underlying AI models. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• You should independently verify any information generated by AskVerdict before making decisions that may have significant personal, financial, legal, or health consequences
• AI-generated verdicts represent synthesized analysis from language models, not expert human judgment. They should not be treated as authoritative conclusions
• You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, and act upon AI-generated content from AskVerdict
• Different runs of the same debate topic may produce different results. AI outputs are non-deterministic and may vary

AskVerdict, GLINCKER LLC, and GLINR Studios expressly disclaim all liability for any actions taken or decisions made based on AI-generated content from the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of the topics, questions, and prompts you submit to AskVerdict ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit it as necessary to provide the Service, including sending it to third-party AI providers for debate generation.

AI-Generated Outputs

Debate outputs and verdicts are generated by third-party AI models. Ownership and usage rights for AI-generated content may vary by jurisdiction and are subject to the respective AI providers' terms. You may use the outputs for your personal and commercial purposes, subject to applicable provider terms and local law.

Our Platform

The AskVerdict platform — including its design, source code, branding, trademarks, documentation, and proprietary engine architecture — is owned by GLINCKER LLC / GLINR Studios and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of any part of our platform without prior written consent.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback without obligation or compensation to you.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In addition, you may not:

• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or connected networks
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent
• Sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs without authorization
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or attributions

10. Service Availability & SLA

We strive to maintain high availability of the AskVerdict platform. However:

• No uptime guarantee: We do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage or service level agreement (SLA) during early access. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
• Maintenance: We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts availability. We will endeavor to provide advance notice for scheduled maintenance.
• Third-party dependencies: Service availability depends on third-party AI providers and infrastructure services. Outages at these providers may affect AskVerdict functionality.

11. Modification of Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing AI models or providers, adjusting rate limits, and modifying the user interface. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GLINCKER LLC, GLINR Studios, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of or access to the Service
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
• Your User Content or how you use AI-generated outputs
• Your BYOK API key usage and any claims from third-party AI providers related to your key usage
• Any claim that your use of the Service infringes or violates the rights of a third party

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• ASKVERDICT AND GLINCKER LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE
• OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100)
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDER ACTIONS, BYOK API KEY CHARGES, OR DATA LOSS CAUSED BY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

15. Termination

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or any applicable law. For violations, we will endeavor to provide notice (except in cases requiring immediate action for safety or legal reasons).

By you: You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support@glincker.com.

Effects of termination:

• Your right to access the Service ceases immediately
• We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Unused credits and remaining subscription time are forfeited upon termination for cause
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including: Intellectual Property, AI Output Disclaimer, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law

16. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@glincker.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body in the jurisdiction where GLINCKER LLC is incorporated. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's award shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for claims involving intellectual property infringement, unauthorized access, or other urgent circumstances requiring immediate judicial intervention.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GLINCKER LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

18. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GLINCKER LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any term shall only be effective if in writing and signed by us.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party AI provider outages, or cyberattacks.

Notices

We may provide notices to you via email, in-app notifications, or by posting on the Service. Notices to us should be sent to support@glincker.com.

19. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. If you disagree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the changes become effective. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
