Billing And Credits Support

Understand plan options, credit packs, subscription changes, and billing workflows.

What credit packs are available?

AskVerdict offers three credit pack sizes:

  • 100 credits: $4.99
  • 500 credits: $19.99 (saves ~20%)
  • 2000 credits: $59.99 (saves ~40%)

Credits never expire. They are consumed when you run debates using AskVerdict's hosted API keys. BYOK subscribers are not charged credits.

How much does BYOK subscription cost?

BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys) is billed monthly:

  • BYOK: $19/month, unlimited debates with your own API keys
  • BYOK Pro: $39/month, adds decision matrix, convergence scores, argument heatmap, file upload, and 10 team seats

You pay your AI provider directly for token usage, which is typically cheaper at volume.

How do I upgrade to BYOK or buy credits?

Go to Settings → Billing from the sidebar, or click your plan badge in the user menu. From there you can:

  • Subscribe to BYOK (any billing cycle)
  • Purchase credit packs
  • View your credit balance and usage history
  • Manage your payment method

All billing is handled securely via Stripe.

What is the refund policy?

Subscriptions: You can cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for the remaining period.

Credit packs: Unused credits are non-refundable after purchase. If you experience technical issues that prevented credits from being consumed correctly, contact support within 7 days.

Founding member promotions: These are non-refundable once applied.

What if I have a billing issue or dispute?

Email support@askverdict.ai with your account email and a description of the issue. Include the charge date and amount if applicable.

We aim to respond to billing inquiries within 1 business day. For Stripe-related payment failures, you can also update your payment method directly from Settings → Billing.
